Chris has always had a natural curiosity and technical ability and has 38 years of experience, 30 of which have been devoted to General Motors vehicles. He began his career as a transmission rebuilder in South Florida. During his 4 years there he became a Certified GM Transmission Rebuilder. He moved the family to Central Florida and started working for a local GM dealer. He advanced to Corvette Tech in his 5 years there. In 1988 he overhauled transmissions and tuned for John Greenwood in his first after hours repair business. In 1991 he started managing the Corvette service center for Eckler's and did so for 5 years until it closed. All of this past experience led him to open his own Corvette maintenance and repair business- Corvette Clinic, Inc., that he has owned and managed for over 12 years. Chris has been an ASE Master Certified Technician for more than 20 years. He holds Emissions Systems Certification as well as Supercharger and Turbocharger Certified Installer status. While at Eckler's, Chris began writing tech stories and columns for Corvette Fever magazine as a Contributing Technical Editor. He continued writing and began preparing tech articles at Corvette Clinic, Inc. When circumstances dictated that the shop would need to relocate, Chris began writing the articles on his own. At the present time Chris is a Contributing Technical Editor for Corvette Enthusiast magazine. He has been writing tech stories and columns for the magazine for the past 3 years in Corvette Clinic Inc.'s shop. Chris is also responsible for answering technical questions for Bloomington Gold and has been a Bloomington Gold School Technical Instructor for 9 years. After teaching for 4 years, Stephanie decided to pursue a position with the family business. She will use her 15+ years of computer experience to manage the IT needs of the company as well as run the dyno and perform automotive computer diagnostics.
